 DIGITAL PRINT This photo was taken near the small village of Marpha in the Kali Gandaki River valley of central Nepal. As I was walking through an apple orchard outside the village Nilgiri North jumpted out at me between the apple blossoms. The juxtaposition of the foreground and background, flowers and mountains, fleeting beauty and enduring strength, caused the inspiration for this photograph. home to quiet Buddhist monastery and fabulous apple pie, Marpha is a true gem on the Annapurna Circuit trek.
