26. Kantega and Chortens

Chortens near Thyangboche Monastery, Nepal. Kantenga (6779m) in the background. Because the members of our privately organized 1986 expedition to Cho Oyu (8201m) flew to Lukla while all the baggate had to come overland we had time to take a side trip to Kalar PAtar, Thyangboche, and Imjatse (Island Peak). An Olympus OM-1 with a Zuiko 70 to 150mm zoom was used.
